Hi, I'm Pete

I build websites for local businesses — gyms, tradespeople, salons, cafés — and I've been doing it long enough to know that most small business owners don't need an agency. They need someone who listens, gets on with it, and doesn't disappear after launch.

One honest conversation, then I build something you're proud of and hand it over completely — in your own accounts, with no lock-in and no bills to me after.

Trusted with four sites, not one

ID FIT came to me for a single website — then trusted me with their whole online presence. Four connected sites across three brands: a 24/7 gym, a women's-only studio, a football academy and an online shop — each fast, mobile-first, and built to be found locally on Google.

3Brands, one presence
1Client — kept coming back

Four brands, one consistent online presence — each fast, mobile-first and built to be found locally.

Pete built the websites for all three of my businesses and completely got what we needed. They're quick, they look the part, and we've had brilliant feedback from our members. He just sorted it — no jargon, no faff, no monthly bills.

Why not just use Wix?

Builders like Wix are fine if you want to make the site yourself. If you'd rather spend that time running your business, here's what the DIY route really costs you.

Template builders

Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy & co.
  • £16–29 a month — for as long as the site exists
  • Hours of your own time spent building it yourself
  • Ends up looking like hundreds of other businesses
  • Rented — stop paying and the site disappears
  • You're left to figure out Google on your own

A website built by me

Made for your business, start to finish
  • No monthly fees — the site is yours to keep
  • I do the building — about an hour of your time
  • Designed around your brand, not a template
  • Full ownership, handed over in your own accounts
  • Set up to be found by local customers on Google

Simple from start to finish

Simple, quick, and no jargon. From first chat to a live site you own outright.

We have a chat

You tell me about your business and what you need. I'll tell you honestly what will work — and what won't.

I build it — fast

A polished, mobile-friendly site put together in days, not months. You see it and we refine it together.

It's yours

I hand everything over in your own accounts. No lock-in, no monthly fees. Want changes later? That's optional, never required.

Questions, answered

The things people usually want to know before getting in touch.

How long does it take?
Most local business sites are ready in one to two weeks, depending on size and how quickly we can get your content together. I'll give you a clear timescale after our first chat.
Do I actually own the website?
Completely. It's built in your own accounts and handed over in full — domain, hosting and site. You're never locked in, and you'll never lose it if you stop working with me.
Are there monthly fees?
None from me. You'll only pay for your domain and hosting — usually just a few pounds a month, in your name — not a subscription to me.
Can I use my existing domain?
Yes. I'll set the site up on the domain you already have, or help you get a new one if you need it.
Can you write the content, or do I need to?
Whatever suits you. Send me what you've got and I'll shape it, or I can write it for you from a quick chat about your business.
What if I need changes after it's live?
Just get in touch. Updates are pay-as-you-go — you only pay when you actually need something changed, never a rolling monthly fee.
Why don't you list prices?
Every business is different — a one-page site for a tradesperson isn't the same as a gym with classes and a shop. I'll give you a clear, fixed quote after a quick chat, so you know exactly where you stand with no surprises.
How much of my time will it take?
Very little. I do the heavy lifting — usually all I need is about an hour of your time up front, then a quick look before we go live. You keep running your business while I build.
Do you only work with fitness businesses?
Not at all — fitness is just what's on show here. The same approach works for trades, salons, cafés, clinics and shops. Any local business that needs to look the part and be found on Google.
What if something goes wrong after it's live?
I don't just disappear. If something breaks, drop me a message and I'll help sort it. The site is yours — but you're never on your own with it.
Do I need professional photos?
Not necessarily. Real photos — even taken on a decent phone — almost always beat stock imagery, because they show the actual business. I'll let you know what works best for your site and can advise on what to shoot if you're not sure.
Which areas do you cover?
I'm based in Essex, but everything is done online so there's no barrier on location. I work with local businesses across the UK — wherever you are, get in touch.
