Why it works

A website that works as hard as you do

01 / SPEED

Genuinely fast

One lean page that loads in under a second — customers see you before they've thought about leaving.

02 / SEARCH

Easy to find

Built for local Google searches from the first line — your town and trade in all the places that matter.

03 / OWNERSHIP

Yours to keep

Built in your own accounts and handed over in full. Stop working with me and you lose nothing.

The person you'll deal with

Hi, I'm Pete

I build websites for local businesses — gyms, tradespeople, salons, cafés — and I've been doing it long enough to know most small business owners don't need an agency. They need someone who listens, gets on with it, and doesn't disappear after launch. One honest conversation, then I build something you're proud of and hand it over completely.

Trusted with four sites, not one

ID FIT came to me for a single website — then trusted me with their whole group. Four brands, one consistent online presence, each fast, mobile-first and built to be found locally.

Before & after

The same gym, rebuilt to convert

ID FIT came to me on a Wix site — slow to load and awkward on a phone. Same brand, rebuilt from scratch: it now loads in under a second and works properly on mobile.

The honest comparison

Why not just DIY it?

Doing it yourself

  • £16–29 a month — for as long as the site exists
  • Hours of your own time spent building it
  • Ends up looking like hundreds of other businesses
  • Rented — stop paying and the site disappears
  • You're left to figure out Google on your own

A website built by me

  • Made for your business, start to finish
  • About an hour of your time, total
  • A design no other business has
  • No monthly fees — the site is yours to keep
  • Local search set up properly on day one
How it works

Simple from start to finish

We have a chat

You tell me about the business, what you've got and what you need. I give you a fixed quote — no surprises later.

I build it — fast

Most sites are ready in one to two weeks. You keep running your business; I need about an hour of your time.

It's yours

Everything set up in your own accounts and handed over — with a 14-day snag window in case anything needs a tweak.

Good to know

Questions, answered

How long does it take?
Most local business sites are ready in one to two weeks, depending on size and how quickly we can get your content together. I'll give you a clear timescale after our first chat.
Do I actually own the website?
Completely. It's built in your own accounts and handed over in full — domain, hosting and site. You're never locked in, and you'll never lose it if you stop working with me.
Are there monthly fees?
None from me. You'll only pay for your domain and hosting — usually just a few pounds a month, in your name — not a subscription to me.
Can I use my existing domain?
Yes. I'll set the site up on the domain you already have, or help you get a new one if you need it.
Can you write the content, or do I need to?
Bring what you've got — notes, your current site, anything in writing. I'll organise it, tighten it and make sure it reads well.
What if I need changes after it's live?
Just get in touch. Updates are pay-as-you-go — you only pay when you actually need something changed, never a rolling monthly fee.
What if my prices or menu change?
No problem — and no bill to me each time. For a menu or price list that changes, I can wire your site to a simple Google Sheet you edit yourself: change a price in the spreadsheet and your site updates. No website login, no CMS, still no monthly fees. See it working →
What does it cost?
£349 for Express, from £750 for a Professional site, £1,200 for Business in a Box — all paid once. Express is a fixed price. For the other two I'll confirm the exact figure after a quick chat, before anything is built, so you know where you stand.
What's the difference between Express and Professional?
Scope, not quality — both are built to the same standard and both are yours outright. Express uses a proven layout for your trade, re-skinned to your brand, with one round of changes. Professional gets three designs made for you to choose from, your words written properly, and changes until it's right.
How much of my time will it take?
Very little. I do the heavy lifting — usually all I need is about an hour of your time up front, then a quick look before we go live.
Do you only work with fitness businesses?
Not at all — fitness is just what's on show here. The same approach works for trades, salons, cafés, clinics and shops. Any local business that needs to look the part and be found on Google.
What if something goes wrong after it's live?
During the 14-day snag window I'm here if something breaks. After that it's in your hands — the site is built to be stable and simple, so there's very little to go wrong.
Do I need professional photos?
Not necessarily. Real photos — even taken on a decent phone — almost always beat stock imagery, because they show the actual business. I'll advise on what to shoot if you're not sure.
Which areas do you cover?
I'm based in Epping, but everything is done online so there's no barrier on location. I work with local businesses across the UK — wherever you are, get in touch.
Packages

Three ways to get online. You own all three.

Every one is paid once, built in your own accounts and handed over completely. The difference is how much of it I do for you — never how well it's built.

EXPRESSTW/02A

For getting online properly, without the extras.

  • One-page website, built for your trade
  • Works properly on a phone
  • Tap-to-call and a contact form
  • Set up for local Google search
  • Live in your own accounts
  • 14-day snag window
ONCE£349
PROFESSIONALWHAT I'D SUGGESTTW/02B

A site designed around your business, not a template.

  • Everything in Express
  • Three designs, made for you — you pick
  • Your words, written properly
  • Your photos, chosen and optimised
  • Extra pages if one earns its place
  • Changes until it's right
ONCE, FROM£750
BUSINESS IN A BOXTW/02C

Not just a website — properly open for business.

  • Everything in Professional
  • You look the part everywhere — colours, fonts, wordmark, card artwork, email signature
  • Google can find you — your Google listing set up and verified, plus your details written ready to paste into the main directories
  • Reviews start arriving — a QR card customers scan to leave one, and the words to ask
  • A plan for your first 90 days, written for your trade and your town
ONCE£1,200

Fixed price agreed before anything is built — half to start, half when it goes live. The only thing you'll keep paying for is your domain name, around £12 a year, on your own card. Never a penny a month to me.

What the difference looks like

The same business, built two ways

Rather than take my word for it — here's one business at both levels, so you can see exactly what the extra buys. Both are fast, both work properly on a phone, and both would be yours outright.

Tap either one to open it. Muddy Paws is a demo concept, not a real customer — the business is made up, so nothing on those pages is a claim about anyone.
